Come taste what these ingredients can bring to your dinner table!  We’ll be tasting different salts, oils and herbs, and combining them to make fantastic dishes.  We’ll make Mustard Herb Chicken baked in a salt crust, home made vinaigrettes, Pesto with Fish Tacos and we will also make a Tuscan Salt to take home!

Chef Terri Rees

As owner/proprietor of Tuxedo Junction Catering, Chef Terri Rees specializes in intimate dinner parties. A graduate of Grand Rapids Community College prestigious Culinary Arts Program, she has shared her lifelong passion for food in several area businesses: Assistant Catering Chef for corporate fine dining at Bissell Corporation; Chef at Steelcase Corporation’s executive dining facility at historic Meyer May House; Sous Chef at Davenport University. Chef Terri is a Spartan Culinary Classroom instructor and presents ingredient and food equipment demonstrations at various locations throughout Grand Rapids. She also volunteers in local food-oriented programs, teaching selection and preparation of healthy food for MSU Extension’s Cooking Matters, Family Network of Wyoming, and other organizations. Terri is a nominee for the ACFGR Chapter Chef Educator of the Year.
