Chef Lisa is a graduate of The University of Akron where she earned both a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Food Science and a Master of Science Degree in Human Nutrition. Lisa earned her Registered Dietitian credentials from the Commission on Dietetic Registrations. Lisa has continued her educational pursuits by recently graduating from the Secchia Institute of Culinary Arts with her Culinary Arts degree. Lisa’s work experience is extensive, most recently, as Clinical Dietitian at an area hospital, part-time Renal Dietitian. Lisa’s passion is teaching students about the close relationship between the body and food choices, to increase their culinary confidence, and how to apply what they learn to create balanced, nutritious and delicious food for themselves and their families.
